Alabama native Tonya Terry is the outspoken, effervescent fireball who wakes up thousands of viewers each morning as an anchor on one of the country's top-rated news programs. This "Southern Socialite" loves all things family, friends, fashion and TROY University football.
Tonya came home in September 2002 to take her place as part of the team of anchors on WSFA 12's "Today in Alabama". She also anchors the community focused show "Alabama Live". Prior to coming to WSFA 12 News, Tonya spent five years in Huntsville where she worked as a news anchor and reporter at both the ABC and CBS affiliates. Tonya has also worked at television and radio stations in Troy, Dothan and Enterprise.
I've met some fun and inspiring people along my journey. Too many to name. But I have pictures! Take a look through my photo gallery to see if you spot yourself or someone you know! I'll be adding more pictures all the time.
"Sometimes Lessons Look Like Love"
